I'm a postdoc researcher in the Physics and Astronomy Department at the University of Toledo. I study the cold gas and dust within nearby galaxies to learn how these galaxies are creating new generations of stars in the present-day universe. In particular, I'm interested in early-type galaxies that have small amounts of ongoing star-formation, despite their long reputation as purely 'dead' galaxies. I also focus on what role older stars have within galaxies that are currently star forming. More details can be found on my research page.
I am also teaching an undergraduate physics course for the Fall 2013 semester. You can find the course webpage here.
